Mercury RX: Libra & Virgo: Purifying Of Self

From September 9th to October 2nd we experienced the recurring process known as Mercury retrograde. In ancient spiritual practices when this process occurred it was a time where everything that was unaligned with us could be purified from our lives. It was a time of illumination and a time where we shifted from what we have been experiencing into a completely new perspective to see what needed to be released so that what was destined could come in with little to no resistance. The process leading up to this event was preparation for the actual trial. When the process was actively happening it was the time of purification. After came the clarity and readjustments.

Now from September 9th till September 23rd we experienced this process in the sign of Libra. The focus was on our extremes and our need for balance. Furthermore, we were focused on justice and fairness. During this time we may have felt very torn between which path was truly in alignment and honored justice and fairness. It was a time to get clear on what our extremes were, and, how we can healthily handle those extremes. We learned this through the reflection of our shadow and our light. We learned this through our relationships with others knowingly or unknowingly in the seen or unseen. It was a chance to attain sacred union ship with self because the only way we can attain sacred union ship with the world around us and the aligned communities we are meeting is to be sacredly in union with self. In all aspects of your being. This all illuminated the fact that we cannot experience sacred union with the creator, the divine, the original point of creation until we have rectified this need for union within ourselves.

On the 23rd of September we experienced another shift in this trial when Mercury moved signs and re-entered one of its home placements of Virgo. This now brought the focus on how we do not belong to others and belong to self and the divine alone. Virgo is known as the maiden and yet just because you may have the access and the availability to them does not mean you may have them or that everything is as it seems. Therefore, this shift in energy further reinforced the fact that the sacred union ship with yourself and all aspects of your being was the only thing that mattered at this time.

Mercury is the planet associated with deception, and, tricks. It is associated with learning, communication, connection, perception, travel, technology, and movement. All these themes and how they related to our union ship with self were highlighted and brought to the forefront of our being to be dealt with. Resistance at this time further illuminates how ready the person is too move forward. Furthermore, it may showcase the need to wrap up any loose ends that may come back to distort the necessary path in the future.

All in all this trial was a trial of walking through the flame of purification to ascend even further into our birthright.

We are currently in the shadow phase when this is being written. The shadow phase is time period usually extending a week before and after the event where we are still rising out of the ashes and things are clearing up. Don't be surprised by the ensuing chaos that leads to peace and truth.
