Libra Season: Purification Requires Balance and Justice

Libra season brought with it the Autumn Equinox the beginning of fall. This shift in the seasons and energy started on September 23rd and will be active till October 22nd.

When the sun which is about our overarching goal, and main focus enters the constellation of Libra it is known as a Fall placement. Fall placements tend to be when the sign is opposite of the exalted sign. i.e. The sun in Aries is exalted. Exaltation means that the planet and sign have a strong affinity to amplify their natural energy and express themselves even stronger then they naturally would in their home placements. So when we are experiencing the opposite of that energy it is known as a fall placement. Fall placements tend to feel as if they weren't given any tools or understanding of their environment and tend to feel rather vulnerable and lost.

As stated earlier the sun in Libra is a fall placement where we experience extremes in terms of our long term goals and focuses. The highlight at this time is where we feel under prepared and rather vulnerable. Libra is the sign of justice, fairness, purification, beauty, balance, extremes, and seeing things from many different perspectives distinguishing self from others through interactions with others. At this time you may be understanding more about your own extremes and how they have been either working for you as assets or working against you as self sabotaging or destructive habits and barriers to your ability to move forward. The goal during Libra season is to find your balance as you purify yourself of anything that is not in alignment to move forward with little to no resistance. It is a time for us to take accountability for our own habits, actions, and experiences as well as our relationships.

Libra happens to be the 7th sign in the zodiac making it a middle ground sign where we are reflecting on what has happened since Aries season and we are preparing for the rest of the astrological year.

Venus has also joined the sun in Libra which happens to be Libras' natural home. During this time there is a heavy focus on finding balance, cultivating fairness, and exacting justice, but, we tend to be focused on creating beauty, financial security (As Venus is associated with money), and reevaluating community ties and affairs. It is a time where we receive upgrades for releasing what has been brought to the surface and we find much more pleasure in spending time taking care of ourselves and spending time with communities that ARE in alignment.

Take all of this into consideration as we continue to experience this energy until October 23rd.
